Quality Resident Care
St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre is proud to share our Quality Improvement Plan, which outlines our annual strategy to improve the quality and safety of care for our residents. St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre has identified 3 quality and resident safety priorities as our overarching corporate priorities:
Reducing Antipsychotics
Preventing Falls
Reducing Wounds
At a program and department level the Quality Councils identify, address and monitor specific resident safety and quality issues. At a corporate level SJLC also continues to focus on projects related to MOH and LTC standards, Resident Quality Inspections Protocols and Accreditation Canada Standards.
