Accreditation
St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre is participating in Qmentum Continuous Quality Improvement accreditation process as part of our commitment to quality and safety for our residents and the broader community we serve. This means that the four-year cycle is transitioning into a continuous journey which includes virtual assessment, attestation, and on-site survey.
Our Campus, including both Long-Term Care and the Stedman Community Hospice, is gearing up for accreditation; from front-line staff and volunteers to board members, residents, and families.
The on-site survey will be held from Dec 11-13, 2023. Three surveyors will visit the Campus of Care to assess the quality of services that we provide against national standards. The final decision of our performance will be determined by the Accreditation Committee in 2024.
